When it comes to the matter of revival, a longing for it and somewhat of a historical awareness of it exist but typically nothing more.  There are two types of revival that can occur, one sent by God by His sovereignty and the other sent by God in response to the individual actions of a Christian.  The importance of this distinction is that enjoying a revival consists of more than merely praying for revival in our country or local church.  While God may choose not to send a widespread revival, He is constantly on the lookout for those who are not only desiring a personal revival but are also willing to work for it.  God’s Road to Revival is somewhat of a roadmap that reveals how anyone who wants a revival can enjoy one.  It is not a mysterious experience that just happens but rather a planned outcome to key steps employed by the earnest Christian who desires more out of his Christian life than simply a knowledge that one day he will end up in heaven.
