While the book of Proverbs stresses what we need to do as a Christian, the book of Ecclesiastes stresses what needs to be avoided.  While Solomon wrote both books, one was written while he was enjoying the celebrity status of the world’s wisest man, while the other book was written to describe the painful lessons he had learned after not taking his own advice.
This Bible study highlights Solomon’s most important and painful lessons that he learned when he enjoyed a spiritual recovery due to God’s grace.  Topics include such things as the scars from backsliding, the measurements of true success, how to grow old, and a host of other valuable topics.
